our history

Our sanctuary started in Florida in 2017 with two horses and a runaway pig.  We continued growing as we added three more pigs, two goats, chickens, various dogs and cats and two calves until we outgrew our small, two-acre farm.  In 2020, we purchased 21 acres in Westminster, SC and moved our family and our 28 animals.  Since then we've continued to grow, rescuing another goat, more chickens and five more cows!

God has given us a passion for resucing cows!  Why cows?  Take some time to get to know one of these gentle, inquisitive, loving animals and you'll know immediately that not only do they each have their own personality, but they are so much more than dairy or meat.  Both industries are so cruel to these animals that we refuse to support either and do our best to give these rescued animals a long life full of safety, love and interaction.  These animals are truly members of our family.
